Yep, I've done it. If you look in the photo gallery under engines you'll find a couple of pics with a supercharged 383 Chev. The fire wall was moved back and the tunnel modified to fit a t10 4 speed. It has a narrowed Ford diff in it. The engine sits nicely in the hole but you'll need some block hugger headers to clear the steering box. We made a motor plate to mount the front of the engine to the chassis rails. The strut towers, front chassis rails and rear leaf hangers were seam welded and the front struts were hybrid Nissan strut tubes joined to Series 4 RX7 turbo discs and calipers which matched the 5 stud pattern on the rear. We tied it all together with a roll cage which ran from the front to the rear spring hangers. It understeered a little but I reckon if you fitted an alloy Gen 3 it would be an absolute rocket ship with safe handling as well. The car is now fitted with a screamer 302 and is being prepared for gravel sprint work.!!
