Guys,

Had a good day/night on saturday with the second round on the Marque Sports Car series being held as a day/night sprint at Calder.

Before i left it was pissing with rain so i packed the wets and a clean pair of 'jockeys'

Got there and got pulled up at scrutes again! Thottle return springs .

About 90 or so cars of various makes and models were there from clubmans to hsv gts and ford xr6 turbo and those bloody trumps. The turbo actually passed the hsv (which was race prepped, big brakes engine mods ect) on the back straight. turns out it was a ford test 'mule' that is all he would say but it was going freaking fast (big boost).

Had 4 session posting a best time of 1.11.79 which got me into third behind two clubmans running 4agz toyota donks, so I was happy with the result.

When the night hit and the lights were on i found it very hard to see as my front screen (lexan) had millions of fine scrathes. I just squinted and hope for the best.

No damage for the day both body and donkey

So all in all top day, oh by the way cam was fastest for the day in his sr20det 1600 he did a 1.08.80 give or take.

Good to see 'D' rock up for a bit of support.

hope to see some more of the lads take part in some pommy car arse kicking

Cheers

Stevo
