The US cars were directly imported from Japan. It's Australia that did local-assembly in the mid-70s and so might have different parts, like the Aussie 120Y's Borg-Warner diff.

The Japanese B310 used the H150 differential. Somebody correct me if there were others used in addition. For example, if the B310 GX used a bigger diff.
