to make a MR car engine needs to b between axle and driver, u r talking about a porsche like setup.

Whole axle-engine assembly will be turned 180 degree to get a MR car. this will b better then getting porshe like steup for weight dustribution, handling charectaristics and exotic appeal.
but it could prove more difficult.
