You know it doesn't matter which setup you use you're gonna get the same peak horsepower (AVERAGE) but fuel injection is the best REGARDING FLEXIBILITY ( i mean if you want more fuel then bigger injectors its the same as bigger carby) for overall response intercooled or not. Intercooling is for decreasing the chance of detonation/pinging and therefore being able to advance the timing for more power. It doesn't matter what setup is used you will always have detonation unless you live in the cold weather. I like draw through setup the best for simplicity just awsome good throttle response really. I had a friend at work who had a Commodore 202 6 cyl with this setup with Weber Sidedraught,Rajay Turbo, water/methanol injection and was running 15 pounds awesome. Took a day to fit and drove it that night including spacer plate for the head, and roller rockers. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled 13-14 seconds. If it was a blow through we'd be having headaches trying to keep the carby pressurised (whether in a box or a hole drilled to the throttle shaft) because also you can't run the mechanical fuel pump, the pressure in the carby would push the fuel back out of the carby kid you not. (lean out means pinging and holey pistons) there are other things too....fuel injection rules get a sidedraught throttle body injection that fits the twin sidedraught weber manifold. It would be the ultimate.
Blah Blah Blah I know anyways Have fun
