Oh yeah! I do remember being concerned with the calipers hitting the springs. They sit at an angle where they would if the axle wasn't so wide. I looked at that for quite some time before I welded spring the perches on to the axle. Once I realized they, the springs, were going to be quite a bit farther in on the tubes, I forgot all about it.
