i am running the complete efi system of a camira 1.8L (delco ecu) which works perfectly untill the motor hits boost. This is when it experiences surging in rpm going real hard then dying and then getting up again. The only thing i can think of is that maybe the boost pressure (up to 15 pounds) is pushing that much fuel back up the lines creating a lean mixture which drops engine off boost. This then may allow it to get correct fuel pressure and go hard once again until it leans out. I think this because i am only running standard pressure regulator so there is nothing else to compensate for fuel pressure as boost rises, plus if the mixtures are richenned it goes better. does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? If anyone one wants any info on this conversion feel free to ask as its cheap and once set up properally will be worth doing.
cheers
