$1500 - $2400 freight X Auckland, plus local fees of about $450 to land it. Then add costs of purchase + freight + local costs. The times 15% for duty payable and add this to the total than add %10 for GST.
Before you attempt to bring in a car you must have an import permit from Dept of Transport before it arrives here. CHECK THE SITE AND READ THOROUGHLY!
If you are bringing in a car uder the 15 year rule ensure you have the permit and all quarantine requirements are met before shipping. It gets very expensive.
A good rule of thumb is to double the purchase price for landed costs.
