Well let me know if you need them. They are nice and polished. And are from a legit car which isn't on anyones books. The just wasn't re-registered. For the Americans reading this, in Australia, you are allowed to own vehicles that aren't registered. When the car gets cut up for parts, you don't need to tell anyone. So as far as they are concerned the car still exists. If the car is involved in a serious crash and is deemed a "write off", then the numbers are put on the "write off" books, and the car cannot be re-registered. This has severely slowed the "rebirthing market", which was a real problem with the '94-2000 model Subaru WRX models. Because of the boy-racer / rich-boy appeal, many of them were involved in accidents. Certain scum would buy the ID/Compliance plates or wreck, from a wrecker, then steal another car of the same model, and switch the numbers..thus the term "rebirthing".
