it should fit pretty easily even in the manual trans tunnel. with some boxes you might have to remove the original mounting brackets spot welded to the tunnel. You might also need to do a bit of panelbeating for extra clearance around where the firewall and trans tunnel meet, but that will depend on where you position the motor. It will always be a fairly tight squeeze to get to the top bellhousing bolts.

as for the diff, at least a H165 out of a 1200 ute, or 1600 or 180B wagon. Grab the 1600/180B wagon driveshaft as well and get it shortened. Otherwise find a common locally available diff out of a 2 litre (or bigger) car, and modify the driveshaft or get a custom one made.

angrywabbit has written a conversion doc, and has been asking about how to get it into the tech section. Hopefully the site admins will help out. It would be a good resource for the site.
