hmmm...maybe, but I think what Bob Jane is not saying is, 99% of club racing in Victoria requires a CAMS event permit, not an Auscar or other permit....a CAMS permit. What this means is, yeah you can still hire the track privately and the drags will still be run, because they don't need a permit.

Maybe those club championship rounds don't mean much to Bob Jane and Calder and that's why he doesn't mention it in his press release other than to say 'The number of CAMS permit requiring events held at Calder Park Raceway has dramatically declined in recent years in line with major increases in CAMS permit fees'
