a14 pistons

just quick qestion as im too lazy to read all the archives, i remeber a couple of weeks ago some one mentioned a14 pistons fitting a12 rods. Is this right?
With an engine bore this gives 1300cc. Do the pistons hit the head on a12 rods, and are they straight swaps once block had been bored to suit.
