I have a lot of rust that has suddenly broken loose in the fuel tank. I have removed the drain plug and tried to flush it out with gasoline...Not much luck...It will still plug up a fuel filter in about 10 seconds..

I have removed the fuel tank from the car. Any suggestions on how to clean it out??

And once it is cleaned out isn't there some kind of sealer one can apply??
