The people going for the twin Hitachi set up are quite right technically.
If you are short of dough at this time ( and who isn't) the Weber at about $35 from a do it yourself wrecker is a good quick fix as the Hitachi/SU pair will probably need the spindles re-bushing and other maintenance which will add to the cost.
On the other hand, you can put the Weber on with a minimum of outlay and get pretty good results.
If you think that second best tomorrow is a better option than first best (twin DCO Weber, Dell'Orto or PHH Solex) somewhere down the track is the answer, then go 32/36 Weber
