andrew, what mains & idle jets are you running, what air correction jets, what emulsion tubes, what power valve.this carby has a lot of adjustments, not just the idle mixture.i never got mine to run right due to the nature of the cam,but try something like 120 main jets & 130 secondary's,as a start.also, leave the idle jet,as it seemed to be right at 55.this should get you started.try to get some jets from a carby place, they were something like $2-$3 each brand new,it was quite a shock when i got new jets for the dcoe's & they're $10-$12 apiece.stick with it,it can be made to work.ask for some suggestions from the carby place you go to.try carby services at burwood on parramatta rd,they are pretty good at this sort of thing.hope this is a help.b120,you probably only have to increase the main & secondary's slightly,& this should richen it up all the way through the range.also,if it's got a bit of a cam,you could try taking some of the washers off the power valve spring,to weaken it,& not have the power valve open at idle, like was happening with mine.
