yer wat u have to do is ring transport sa or the modification hotline and get them to send u an aplication form to modify a motor vehicle. The guys on the phone wont tell u much and they can be cunts. u ave ta fill out the details of vehicle before modifications and then wat u want to modify eg motor, suspension, rims, tyres, brakes, chassis etc. U then post it back and they tell u if u can or cant do it and wat else u have ta do if its ok with them (eg. they may require u do a brake upgrade also). Then u gotta get it engineered (if significant changes have been made) which i was quoted 1500 by a few people and and they may make u do a road test at adelaide international raceway which costs 600. They dont seem to have a problem with engine transplants depending on car and motor just they dont like u moding a stok mota eg dont allow carb changes, no turbo if motor didnt come out of the factory with one, no aftermarket bolt on turbo kits either, must retain stock intercooler and piping and bov etc, no increase in standard motors capacity above 15% and the bullshit goes on. This is the trouble i had trying to get my turbo 180b done. Hopefully all goes smooth with my 1200. Anyway best of luk gettin ur car thru, let us no how ya go.
