i'm going to try to be there competing,& not set the aircleaners alight like last year.first i have to get the other motor into the car, after the camswap.i found a piece of piston ring on top of number 4 piston, which had caused the spark plug gap to close up & cause a misfit.after taking the head off,i found the ring might have been out of number 1 cylinder,& both 1 & 4 were kaput.only the rings in 1 weren't all there.all i can say is thanks to CAMS,as i couldn't buy any avgas,& the little lady probably was detonating on the 98 octane crap.i've also worked out a way to get a fuel log book without having to get a vehicle log book.
