A 1200, because it's lighter, can only take a 1800 turbo or 2300 NA.
But you have to go off the weight that the RTA published for your car. Which has been discussed before, and is quite a bit less than the weight on the road.
In other states, they allow the modifier to add lead weights to bring up the weight, allowing bigger engines...but not in NSW.
