bp turbo? it only came in 4wd in the familia except for the 100 turbo mx5's built in 2001 in Australia only. They were developed off a kit made by avo in melbourne.

They are strong and would support about 250hp, but id think that a ca18 or 4agze would be better.

I've been contemplating a b6 mx5 engine transplant. 1.6lt twin cam and efi would do just nicely, with a kit from avo fro$3400 to turbo andthey make about 120kw at the wheels.... sounds almost too easy
