we are talking about the line of bolts on the bottom of the manifolds,aren't we.i've found the best way to undo them is a 12 mm socket in 1/4 inch drive,with some very long extensions.the extensions are long enough to clear the whole manifold.i got mine at a $2 shop,among the cheap & nasty tools they usually have.mine even work for twin webers & mandrel bent extractors,which make getting to the no 3 nut on the bottom an exercise in contortion.another tip to make it easier is to get nuts with a washer already attached.these come from the inlet side of e15 engines,& i usually take a little walk around a wrecker salvaging these.they don't usually want any money for them either,& if you've gone to a specialist nut supplier & priced them,it's a real saving.
