Wouldn't it be nice to use a 555 timer circuit with transisters to create a pulse modulated proportional effect to the steering/brakes/throttle. I wonder what the highest input frequency is registered for the button on the controllers?? eg. 75 clicks / second? 300 clicks / second?

We could then use a trimpot or similar to increase the frequency to simulate a button that pressed down continually.

Then that setup would really "ROCK".

Just some thoughts.
