Yes, NOS is a brand name, but i believe it is also a generic name for any nitrous oxide system used on a car, whether it be an NX system, Venom system or whatever.
The same way computers are called Engine Management Systems, and there is also a brand called EMS, which stands for Engine Management Systems.
Now that the confusion is cleared up, back to the original topic....just put the NOS on and see what happens...a12's are cheap!!!!!
