I'm on Long Island, Merrick and I was up at 5:30 bidding on the same item, but it got too rich for my blood.

I'm building a Locost 7a (lotus seven a replica) and I'm using an A12A engine. Right now I'm trying to finish up the car and figgured I'd do just minor work on the engine, a cam, some head work, an exhaut & headers and twin SUs. I have the carbs, but I don't have an intake. There is a place in Rhode Island, Rimflow that has a lynx intake that runs around $300, if I could have gotten the eBay item for $75 it would have been a deal, but if I pay close to $200, I'd probably be better off with the Lynx.

I love the lightness of the engine. If I get my car around 1200 lbs and hopefully 85Hp or so I'll be happy.
