. As far as I know, 120Y/B210 Datsuns do not bring a rear sway bar, you will have to fabricate one, and following the 1200 sway bar diagram in the tech section, I think that is the best kind, with no sway bar links, just straping the ends of the bar (eyeless, no link, no need for eyes at ends)...with brackets. Another system that works in rear leaf sprung cars, not as effective but with good results is those traction bars, like the hot rodders cars have, if positioned close, almost touching the springs(rubber ends), act as sway bars by preventing the outer side of the car from sinking in onto the ground, because the leaf spring has no way to go, gets stopped before the body can lean down on the leaf spring, flatening it. The less that perfect part is that on the other side, where the body separates from the suspension(inside wheel)... the traction bar does nothing about holding the body to the axle/suspension, allowing the spring to curve upwards as the spring / axle arangement hangs off of the body while this body is going upwards. I am trying to make a system where the traction bar will hold to the body with one or 2 strong small coil springs, so, the side going up will be held in place, but not tied...( that is why I think about the coil springs instead of just bracking /bolting))...so then the effect of a sway bar will be achieved, and at the same time, a traction effect. The sway bar has that dual action, pulling on the inside body and pushing up on the outside.
