My prepump don't work, i bought it second hand so no warrenty. Anyway i connected it up directly to the battery so I could prime the fuel lines and surge tank. When I connect the terminals to teh battery for just the pump, the terminal spark when I connect them (only very small spark) just that the pump does nothing. So the spark says that it's getting power, so has the pump worn out??? I pulled it apart and it was covered in this foam (looked like selley's space invader stuff) so I didn't want to break all that off, any ideas on what to try??? or is it beyond repair and cheaper to get a new one.

Its a fuel pump out of a Mazda 626. Bloody mazda's!!!!!

Thanks for any help

Damo
