Hi Everyone,

First off - apologies for the 'same old query' regarding interchanging of manifolds etc..howver this one has really stumped me.

I have recently mounted a a12 exhaust manifold up to my a14 head, it bolted on fine as evrone has said it would GREAT!

I have sloted on the intake (A14) above it and went on fine no dramas either, howver this is where the proble starts...

Where the edges of the exhaust and inlet manifolds are supposed to be 'pulled in' together by a flat washer, the inlet manifold wall/edge seems to be slightly higher than the exhaust manifold - causing the washer not be flush?? VERY STRANGE and confusing

I have secured the exahaust manifold up square to all 3 studs that actually go through it and now i can't seem to 'pair it up' evenly with the inlet manifold which sits hard up agianst the face of the head...?

Can anyone explain or share their thoughts on why this is happening?

Is the a14 inlet not able to run with the a12 exhaust despite the fact that the a12 exhaust will bolt on fine?

I hope all this makes sense..
