Has anyone done any Panasport wheel resto?

I have a set for my Datto that look okay, but I want to clean them up and polish the outer edges. I would like to leave the center section "as-is" but I can't get them to clean up.

Should I have them glass beaded or possibly walnut-shell blasted, or will that remove the textured material they put in the center sections?

Has anyone sprayed clear on them, or should I have them clear powder coated?

If worse comes to worse, I know I could metal etch and paint the centers, but I kind of like them the way they are.

Any tips or experiences appreciated.
