ok wen i first looked in to doing this conversion ( 1200 ute manual- ca18det) like 6 months ago i was told that the gear box tunnel has to be cut out heeps to fit the box in but yesterday wen to jap motors to get a half cut quote ($2600) and was told to buy a kit and it just bolts on no cuttin or weilding or anythink
i had got a quote from stainless customs on doing the diff and the exhaust and droping the motor in to the empty engine bay but now the guys from jap motors said that its eazy and i could do it my self with a $300 kit from them

any one tryed theese kite. is there any cutting and or major mods needed in the gear box tunnel. or any think else that would provent me from doing this at home.
thanks
