Hi everyone. I'm new and need some advice. I have my Dad's 1975 orange 120y station wagon and am trying to come to terms with selling it as he passed away 6yrs ago and we can't keep it for much longer (cost to register and insure - lack of space). My husband's been driving it for the past 2 years and absolutely loves it but he needs something more long term and this is more of a fixer-upper. It is breaking my heart and I don't want to sell it to just anyone as he had it since new (it's a '75. I'm a '76!) and it is very sentimental to me. It is original but needs work (paint-job, bit of rust, a few dings not by Dad! and mechanically excellent). He cared so well for it and the clock has gone around more than once and still never done a head!
Do you think there'd be any interest out there for anyone who might want to restore it? I can't stand the thought of someone taking it who won't care for it the same way as he did and would love to think it might return to its former glory.
