Must admit I didn't do a thorough search for this just a small one but here's the question.

When selecting jets for the dgv carbies for instance I've always gone with the smaller jet in the primary barrel since it's smaller and assuming it's leaning out the full throttle mixture?. A frind of mine with a weber fed Hilux had quite a large primary jet and pissy sized secondary and he rekoned it was real punchy down low which is what he needs for 4wd'ing but leaning out too much up top preventing him from achiving a "comfortable" highway cruising speed. With the synchronous both barrels are operating at the same time so would this concept be right in using different jets in each barrel to achieve the optimum mixture at a given throttle opening or full throttle for instance? or should the jets be the same in each barrel?
