i rebuilt the carb a couple weeks back; now its burning a ton of fuel through my tailpipe. the only modification i made was bending the float to match the specs i had in the rebuild kit. the bowl seems to be filling just half way with fuel. my question is, would a lack of gas in the carb cause it to burn so much off? this is the first ive ever rebuilt and would just like to know before i take the damn thing out again.
