Now for the serious side of the post. I would like to warn you all of the dangers of working in your shed/garage late at night on your datsun.
As i was getting the new engine (GSX ACT Model) ready to drop in, i accidentally bolted a whippersnipper on instead of the gearbox. the gearbox crossmember didnt line up either, but
i was able to use the shoulder strap on the whippersnipper. I think this is why the clutch was making wierd noises -
It could also have been that when i put the clutch on, i only did the bolts up finger tight(DICKHEAD MOMENT).
The part about the whippersnipper was not true, the part about the floating clutch was true.

Long live the Datsun, despite my efforts to fix them.
