So the other day at work, I coincidentally found that a 1993 Infiniti J30 uses a PN/ 2827 oil filter, which is the same as theA series oil filters, but also showed in the fram brand a different filter number, being a 3682. The differences seem to ONLY be the location of the filter gasket, moving to the outside of the filter body.

In my parts store system, the only filter it shows to fit the A motor is a P/N 2827, however because the J30 uses a 2827 or a 3682, they should be interchangeable, correct? This would allow me to use any filter for the J30, and I'd have a wider range of available filters for my A-series rather then just a small breed.
