Hi Guys,
I recently bought a tachometer for my 1400 Nissan (not the Champ). I have asked the store where it was purchased and have been assured that it should work on the bakkie.
When idling, it is semi stable but at higher revs it is very erratic. The instructions that came with it are not very clear. I currently have the black wire connected to the negative terminal of the battery. The green wire to the negative coil. And the red wire to a live fuse in the fuse box. As far as I know this should be correct. I have recently changed the points and condenser.
Any suggestions?
Thanks Dave
