i bought an auto 1200 coupe for the bigger tunnel and when i converted to 4 speed i had to use angle to reach from the gearbox crossmember to the actual mounting holes for the crossmember in the floor about six inches back from the crossmember on the gearbox. now ive got a 5 speed and dont want to use this method id like to move the mounts (which are welded to the tunnel) forward to the right position. im wondering if anyone has had similar problems and how they got around it or other problems they encountered because im not 100% sure of what im doing. (the car i got the gearbox out of was a sedan and the mounts looked like theyed been moved but were only held in by two plates either side of the tunnel wall which were pop riveted together, this seems a bit dodgy, mind you this was a fairly well prepared rally car otherwise, so im not sure.)
