i just put some toyota tarago mags (14"*5.5") on my 1200 coupe and the barstard at the tyre place convinced me 185/65/14 tyres would fit even though i said i wanted 195/60/14, after i took them home and chased up the right nuts to fit the wheels i put em on and couldnt even turn out of my own street. the tyres were cut and he wouldnt take em back. im wondering about the legalities of cutting or bending the front of the wheel arch down the bottom there in specific with regards to rallying (and maybe bashing in the back wall behind the tyre cause that rubs too). what size tyres is anyone else running with there 14s or 15s or whatever you got?. Also i had to put the stanza struts i had on to fit the wheels as the tyres rubbed on the 1200 struts but the tyres also hang outside the gaurd aswell so how does anyone get big wheels to fit in without flares?. i wanted to get the wheels machined to have less offset and bring them inside the gaurds so they didnt hit the top of the arch but theres still only abut 12-15mm (just over 1/2 inch) clearance between the strut and tyre even with the stanza struts in? any suggestions appreciated, id really prefer to stay on 14s for road use but looks like 13" is biggest with rally tyres on (probably better for ratios anyway). The 14s look way too good on the coupe to let them go it makes it look soooooooooo sweet and the ones i got are a damn nice pattern.
