Differences between a14 and a12?

Just bought a 1978 ute with a14 in it. Had not been started in 4 years and ran first shot.
Wondering on differences between a12 and a14 in regards to dizzy, water and fuel pumps etc. are they all the same? Motor is from a sunny. Also, is it relatively easy to replace heater hose?
