Is a broken A12A worth anything? |

I have a 1971 (estimated) A12A with a spun connecting rod bearing. Everything else, from the carb to the exhaust flange, is present and in usable shape, but the crank and one rod need work. Is this worth anything at all? Honestly, I feel like the price of getting the crank reground and new rods exceeds the value of the whole engine, so I'm tempted to take the works to the scrapyard, or maybe put the head/carb up on ebay and toss the block/crank. But is the head even worthwhile trying to sell/ship? It's old and A14's are plentiful, so is there any point even bothering? Thoughts?
