Having trouble starting car |

Hey guys, ran into a bit of trouble today. It started up fine and I drove it for about 5 miles parked, then ran a quick errand and came back to the car about 30mins later, I put the key into the ignition and heard nothing at all. No clicks or cranking at all. The lights and dashboard turned on but when I turned the key the lights dimmed but no sounds at all. The battery is less than a year old so I know it's not that. When I waited about 15minutes the car ended up cranking back up no problem at all. Is this a starter issue?
