Datsun 1200cc engine to drive a 12 KW power generator

I plan to run a 12 KW power generator off the front end of a 1200cc Datsun engine. The generator requires CCW rotation so need to do it that way. Anyone have any long term concerns about doing this. I'm thinking a flywheel on the front end would take out vibrations that could be induced from the generator. Comments.
