anyone done a Sr20de conversion ??

not really different to Ca18det conversion, just need to differ the Xmemba, largers fuel lines, any difference in the SR gearbox? etc? thats all i could think of.

i heard figures that stock SR is 145hp (ca18det 180hp), seeem bout right?


post just out of intrest and dreams and maybe conversion someday

I have seen two SR20 DE's into 1200's one a coupe the other a sedan believe it or not they use the exact same modified crossmember as the Ca18. you just have to be more carefull with sump clearances thats all the engine is a bit wider and heavier too but all in all a good conversion

My bet would be an SR20VEthey make as much power as an SR20DET (or there abouts) as they use the new NEO VVL technology.
Thats just my idea

demo the power out put of the neo v motor is rroughly about 204hp.. stock i have been researching on this motor and the sr20vet.. for next project. i sold the 1000 ute. and 120y 2 get a 1600.
