Hey my Econo monitor gauge stopped working
I noticed this when I started playing around with the carby's setting like idle and mixture well thats when it stopped working anyway might be just coincidence?

* Econo monitor gauge is the one next to the speedo gauge for sunnys, they light up green and turns into red when you put your foot down more on the accelerator pedal *

my guess is that that just works off a vacumm line similar to the one going to the dizzy, or an electric wire, just check theres no small hose or wire thats been disconected, if its not that its probably not worth trying to fix anyway

razor,if the vaccum line has come off the economonitor,it'll cause an intake leak,& the car will run rough.the vaccum line runs from the manifold to that strange looking bit on the wiper motor with the electrical connector.i can't remember exactly were it hooks up on the manifold, because i put a dash with a tachometer out of a sunny coupe into my panelvan,& the other sunnys ive had have been square headlight ones.the econmonitor was only in round headlight sedans & wagons,as well as the van.

it could be that the gauge itself has died.the gauge in my van never worked at all.you could always try getting another gauge from a wrecker, just look for round headlighted sedans & there should be one in the car.can't guarantee it wont be dead, however.
