I saw on ratdats web page they they sell em complete for $300. Not sure if it siuts you though.

Mate, get yourself a Crane XR3000 points to electronic ignition conversion kit.....costs about $340 plus u need a good 12V coil to go with it....instead of sparking a measly 6000-7000V like the standard ignition you will have 30000V+ !!! This kit makes a huge diff to low down power and the motor revs better as well !! And better still never have to adjust a set of crappy points again.

..not sure, i think maybe in the later model ones.
but r they the bodgy magnetic type or decent ones? either way the Crane will have more spark energy. Btw nothing has to be modified to fit the crane, you just have to pull things off....like the points, condensor etc etc Oh yeah, the electronic distributor off an N12 Pulsar will fit an A12 once u have done a little bit of modification to the housing... but it's still a magnetic setup....yuck

well the i have a Electronice dizzy out of a Series 2 bluebird, got converted to aseries cog, new bearings, regraphed etc.

and it goes amazing, very pleased would cost around about $300 thats including buying a dizy and coil

just search electronic dizzy and you can see pics of mine.

cool....I'll try and post some pics of the crane setup sometime...(have to "borrow" a digi cam off a mate first :)

its sooo good to never have to muck around with points again, isn't it??!

ppl in sydney might wanna visit jeff taylor at st mary's i talked to him today he is very helpful he tells me he makes them for 400 dollars as long as u supply him with a a series dizzy.
