I just weighed my uncut A15 bare block with no caps etc and it comes in at 32kg's or 5 stone. The only thing extra on the block is its o-ringed but they would weigh bugger all.

Thanks man! unfortunately that's right at the limit of sending one through the mail (70 lb max) so packaging it would tip the scales too far.

Pity its not a twink engine they are only 28lbs and in Holland some racers have them pumping 238hp.

Im in the process of trying to get some prices on having a toyota t series rwd gearbox adapted to one. I can use pre pollution gear, they are crossflow with 42mm valves standard on renault 17tl versions, have very short pushrods, hemi style head and can be taken up from 1647cc standard to 1980cc with mecaparts kits.

this link shows the upgrade options.
two bare blocks will weigh 56lbs!!
