Another qeustion in the diff area ...
While trying to replace rear wheel bearings on the coupe ( for the disc brake upgrade) I was asked if it is Jap or borg Worner. Jap, I say because Borg Warner would be ex 120Y and / or would have a removable backing plate. The bearings supplied are the same as ser 1 B/B or vanette (about 18mm wide) where the coupe h145 axles have 16mm wide bearings. The recess in the housing matches the 16mm width so I am wondering if it is a huge issue ?? I am assuming that maybe the bearing retainer plate bulge will accept the difference ??? Could I just have the OEM bearings and all replacements are the same ? Again I beg for your assistance ! Thanks heaps.

If 16mm came out, then 16mm should go back in
