I finally g ot th e force fed a14 going last night. She fired up almost straight away. It ran a bit woolly due to a peice of sh1t carb. Once it h ad warmed up weg ave it afew revs. Despite poor throttle response down low, and anasty bog when th e secondary was opened it still managed to make 11psi. Then itwent boom.
Turns out I chose competely thewrong hose to join up the manifold, and when it badkfired , it blew ahole in one of th em.
So tonite I pulled the supercharger off and tommorow after work I'll buy th e right hose.
Also when Ifitted an adjustable cam g aer timing cover it obliterated the timing marks, I'll wh p offth erocker cover and find top dead centre off th e can specs using a DTI, th en make anew set of marks to help me tune it.
All in all, I have a long way to go, but at least i know it can run. With abit more fine tuning I may even get more boost.
