I really need some lumbar support in the 610. But that's not what I had to say. What I wanted to say is, I drove the 610, or Barbecue Bob as it is known around here, to work this morning. (Then I drove it home again because I forgot my work phone and keys in the Scooby-Doo, but that's another story. Well, actually that's the whole story, now that I think about it. But I digress.) It buzzed right along with traffic, no sweat. My only complaint, the "shimmy" in the front end at around 40 and 80 miles per hour. Juan would assume if it is a harmonic thing, 120 miles per hour as well, but I haven't pushed it that far yet. Anyhoo, just wanted to share the fact that I do occasionally drive my cars. Have a day.

Lumbar support: Get Mustang GT seats. They are a perfect size, and have lumbar air bags (just hook up one wire).

Barbecue Bob?

In a 510/610/710 that is usually an indicator of worn ball-joints. Adding wider tires will generally exacerbate the problem.

hey i'd say if those ball joints were the cause for it you might want to put in some new ones while your getting wider wheels put on!!!

Yeah, you'd think I would do that. But as I have mentioned before, I'm very lazy. I keep hoping that Tensandtwenties will do it when he borrows the car. Oh, and you might cut a coil off those front springs while you're in there!
By the way John, thanks for the help getting the Cobra back on the road. I really do appreciate it.

I love the fact that I have a number of cars to drive at the moment. My new ute, the old ute and my g/friends (dont shoot me!) Corolla. Must take the old ute for a spin, its just been sitting. The new ute is great but too easy to drive, even sideways with an LSD is easy. Jump in the FWD Corolla or old non-power steer ute and I nearly mount gutters because I forget to turn.
That photo looks awesome! lurve the flares!

dims/tens and twenties,
are those flares off something else or specific to that model. I have a mate with a 200B SSS and he has home made (bent metal and bog) flares but Im sure he would love some bolt on's, even if he bogged over the bolt holes.

Cheers,

Simon
