Engine oil cooler.

I've got an alloy radiator out of some sort of Toyota that I'm planning to retrofit into the 1200, it has a small transcooler built into it. Would there be any beneift of plumbing it up to the engine oil to help it warm up/cool it? I'm going to have a manual trans to using it for an auto isn't going to happen.

Found out some more info in regards to this and you could do it, howvever for street use, the oil temp would never be a concern unless you drive it like a maniac in 40 degree celcius temps. for race use, the oil cooler just wont flow enough for it to be suitable and you would be in all sorts of problems with oil starvation issues. The best bet would be to pick up a Perma-cool brand oil cooler kit from repco which retails for around $210.

Yeah, I'll do it properly then.

Being in Townsville driving like a maniac in 40deg ambient temp is a given.
