is this carb a standard A15 Carb?

not wth that thing hanging off the side of it. what did it come off, it may be from a forklift or something, iv just never seen that thing on an a series carb before.
the bolt pattern to the manifold looks right though

yeh thats what i thought, i thought mybe the carb i had wasnt standard, but yeh i dont know what that contraption on the side is.

The contraption is the vacuum secandaries actuator, earlier A series had mechanical secondaries. The carbie looks exactly like the one that came on my A15, The only difference between each model A series besides the secondaries is the jet sizing. Naturally the bigger engine will have bigger jets. If you take the jets out and read the number on them I am sure someone on here can confirm which size engine they are suited for. I dont have my carbie anymore so I cant check what the sizes are in mine.

My A15 (1980) carb had mechanical secondaries. It didn't look like that ...
