what radiators do you racers use?
I was thinking a 310 radiator with a new triple core maybe?
I had my 1600 radiator recored with a new triple core, it's great and hasn't even looked like overheating since.
Could do the same for the 1200, but was thinking aluminium would be better, could get away with a smaller one due to the better heat transfer properties?

I use a Gemini TF one (4 inches wider than stock 1200 and you can run standard hoses)...its not the water temp which is a prob on the A series...its oil temp...so make sure you run an oil cooler..

In my y i run a series 3 bluebird radiator (ca20 motor) and two 10 inch thermos. On a 42 degree day it doesn't go over 86 degrees. I also run a 400x200x40 oil cooler.

Thats all OK for street cars guys but you must run an oil cooler for a race car...otherwise the oil will boil. This is the archilles heal of the A series.
$200 for a complete kit is all it will cost
